Then 2% of what we collect — never more than $349 a month. No card to start. No contract. Cancel anytime.

Starter

What every account starts on — there's nothing to pick.
2% of what we collect
  • Your first 15 recovered invoices: free, for good.
  • After that: 2% of each invoice Recoup recovers.
  • Monthly maximum: $349 — however much we collect.
  • The rule that keeps it fair: we only bill on invoices already 30+ days late when we started chasing.

Growth

For books with real write-offs sitting in them.
2% · settlements 5%
  • Everything in Starter, at the same rates.
  • Negotiator Mode ROLLING OUT — settles severely-overdue invoices within bounds you set. You approve every offer.
  • Settlements bill at 5% of what's actually collected — money that was headed to write-off.
  • Same $349 monthly maximum across everything.

Shop

For businesses that have outgrown pay-per-recovery.
$349/mo flat
  • No per-recovery fees at all — recover as much as you can.
  • Everything in Growth included.
  • Business Development Agent ROLLING OUT — repeat-work signals, quotes grounded in your own pricing, draft campaigns you review.
  • Never more than a capped month: the flat price equals the $349 cap.
What that looks like in real money

Say you're owed $43,218 and $19,340 of it is more than 30 days late — the business in our example up top. If Recoup collects every late dollar,2% would come to about $387 — but your bill caps at $349. If we collect half, it's $193. If we collect nothing, it's $0.

For scale: most traditional collections agencies keep 20–50% of what they recover. Recoup charges 2% — and your first 15 recoveries are free.

Your rate goes down, not up

Tell us what's working, and your rate drops.

A feedback survey, a review on a B2B software site, a referral, or a case study — each one cuts your take rate, from 2% down to as low as 0.5%. We'd rather earn a lower rate from a customer who tells us the truth than a higher one from a stranger.

Pricing questions

The fine print, not in fine print.

Which invoices does Recoup charge for?

Only invoices that were already 30 or more days late when Recoup started chasing them, and only when the money actually arrives. Invoices that get paid on their own, current invoices, and anything we don't collect cost you nothing.

What does "first 15 free" mean exactly?

The first 15 late invoices Recoup recovers for you are completely free — no card on file, nothing owed. It's how you find out what Recoup is worth before paying anything. The 2% starts on recovery number 16.

How does this compare to a collections agency?

Most traditional collections agencies keep 20–50% of what they recover, and comparable AI collections agents typically charge 10% or more. Recoup charges 2%, capped at $349 a month — and texting your customers and the payer portal are included on every account, not sold as add-ons.

How does my rate go down?

Tell us what's working. A feedback survey, a review on a B2B software site, a referral, or a case study each cut your take rate — from 2% down to a floor of 0.5%. It's in your rewards page once you're set up, and the discounts stack.

Why do negotiated settlements cost 5% instead of 2%?

Negotiator Mode works the invoices that were headed to write-off — 120+ days overdue, where ordinary chasing already ran its course. Settling one of those recovers money you'd most likely never see, so the fee on that recovered amount is 5% instead of 2%. You set the floor the agent can accept, you approve every offer before it sends, and the fee only applies to what's actually collected. Everything still counts toward the same $349 monthly maximum.

What about payment processing fees?

Separate and small, like any way of taking payment: when your customer pays through a Recoup link, bank transfer costs 0.5% capped at $15, card costs 0.4% plus the card processor's standard rate. Your customer is never surcharged, and invoices paid outside Recoup carry no processing fee at all.

What happens if I recover a lot?

Your bill stops at $349 in any month, no matter how much Recoup collects. If you hit that cap two months in a row — or you're chasing more than about 150 invoices a month — we'll suggest Shop: a flat $349 a month with no per-recovery fees at all. Since the flat price equals the cap, Shop can never cost more than a capped month; it just makes the bill boring.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. Sending stops immediately, and you only owe the fee on what was already recovered. No calls, no retention flow.
